Extending Work Items - Part 3 - Hide Extension Tab

This video outlines how to hide the Extensions tab on a form. The previous videos extended the Change Request class and modified the default Change Request form. This left the extension tab on the form and by editing the XML file we can remove it.

Extending Work Items - Part 2 - Form Extension

This video will use the Authoring Tool to modify a Service Manager form. It will show how to add a list, text box, date picker and a relationship on to the Change Request form. It will use existing Stack Panels to place the elements on the page and have them line up under the existing fields. This video shows tips on how to use the Authoring Tool to get the layout you want.

Extending Work Items - Part 5 - Tabs and VIP Example

This video will show how to create a basic VIP solution in Service Manger using a new tab on the Incident form. It will show the steps to extend the User Class and the Incident Class. It will modify the Incident form to add a new tab item and use panels to place elements on that tab. It will use label controls to display data and custom properties.

This video also shows tips on how to use the Authoring Tool to get the layout you want.
